    Talent ID

How long after a winter talent ID will a club let you know if they want you or not? Do they make offers at the winter IDs? If so how long do they typically wait to let you know.

As soon as they have confirmation you’ll be a paying customer, they will let you know your kid “made the team”

I am wondering the same thing. Would they send out a formal acceptance this time of year?

Based off what other people have said, it’s not a try out. So they won’t send out offers.

They'll add a few studs they want (if they exist). If you're interchangeable with players #6-18 probably not.

It most cases - unless your kid is way better than who is currently on the team.... this is a opportunity to get noticed for a invite for subsequent training sessions with the club. If you aren't hearing anything pretty quickly - keep working b/c for whatever reason- you weren't noticed.

Typically you will contacted shortly after they see your child. They will make it known that they want you. It's also a good sign if a coach comes up to your child and starts asking questions like what's your name, who do you play for. Otherwise just keep putting yourself out there and see what happens.

Be realistic though. If your child is equivalent to a child already on the team they will probably keep the rostered kid. It helps to know people already on the team to get some inside info on who may be leaving, who could be coming in, etc.

You would know within days. In many cases same day or before you leave the coach will ask the kid if his/her parent is there to talk.

If you haven't heard, they likely don't want you. If they want you, they tend to act quickly.

Town club here - assuming it's a quick call. We already lost a kid and the transfer portal isn't even open yet. Kid already set up in system for uniform purchase and everything.

That’s a common misconception about what those dates mean. You can transfer all year round with approval from both clubs. That period is different because it just means the transfer goes through even if the sending club sits on it and doesn’t approve.

The same type of Club that holds “Talent ID” sessions also ghosts kids they don’t want. Self interest and incompetence are their guiding principles.
