Once again, Match Fit screwed us again. Last year bringing up players from other teams both in showcases and playoffs just to do it again in Tennessee. This time by playing players who are already committed to colleges. Over players who have not been able to find a school interested in them. Paying all that money, including recruiting fees, to get my daughter looked at by colleges just to have her playing time cut for players who have already committed is a complete joke. Scams and lies is the MFA way.

For the record, my kid is still a few years before recruiting, and I have no experience with the process. My understanding, after talking to multiple parents, is that showcases are just one of the recruiting tools. Most of them recommend making list of the school that is your kid interested in, then attending their ID camps. Taking to coaches and getting little bit familiar with the school is what will you usually keep on coaches' radar. To me playing at a showcase with hundreds of other players hoping the coach or scout from the school that you would like to attend will pick you up are very slim.

Self centered coaches contribute to loosing cultures.. They produce teams that are divided. they cause good talent to go elsewhere. They kill drive in good players….scumbags.
