Every season...so if you finished top of the flight in the fall, will be moved up for the spring. Or if you finish bottom, will be moved down. If you are blowing out or getting blown out, can even be moved two flights.

EDP has recommended flighting based on how the team did the season prior and in EDP/ISE tournaments, then coaches/clubs will lobby to push the team up or ask to move them down based on player movements, egos, etc. Generally if you lose every game or are blown out in multiple games, you are going to be flighted down and the inverse if you are blowing teams out.

How does promotion and relegation work in EDP? Is it the top 2 get promoted and bottom 2 teams relegated? What happens if a team wins Premier 1 do they stay in that division?

U12 and below, not necessarily with Prem 1 because there tends to be a big drop off between prem 1 and 2. At U13 and older, the top 2 flights are USYS NL, which has a separate application process. There is a more national platform called P.R.O. for teams that win USYS or E64 (Club v Club setup) flights
