It's up to your school AD and main office to vet a coaching hire. They may not care or discussed it already. They may have just needed a body or decided it wasn't important. Is he a good coach? Does he treat kids fairly?
If you're looking to your kids coach to be a perfect role model you should reset your sights. They all have flaws, just like all of us do. Some aren't worth getting worked up over, others are. I personally would care more about how he coaches, interacts with players etc.
Besides possible character flaws, What it does show is a complete misunderstanding of how Google works. Anyone can check your bio these days. Dumb move.
Not a good coach - has only experience at town team level and b & c teams to boot....really over his head with a lot of talented players...has not control or never any adjustments based on play and/or team matchups

Setting themselves up and the players for a possible unfortunate situation should it snowball into something and gets terminated for falsification. Then everybody loses as the players will have a reset with a new coach
