What leagues always have 3 refs and which do you see with often 1 or 2? Does ECNL, GA always have 3 show up? EDP, MOSA, MID...?

for EDP, U13 and above have 3. U12 and below have 1. Some clubs want to support younger refs and will pay for 2 extra refs to have 3 at U11 and U12 (so basically they will split the cost of the center ref with the away team, but pay 100% of the other 2). Good way to get some more refs in the queue

MOSA consistently has 3 for all levels U8-U18. ARs are often teenagers, but better than just 1 center.

Who would want to be a ref these days for the abuse they take by parents and players for the little money they make

Is there a rule that states the sideline ref cannot verbally communicate with the head ref during a play? I.e. if there is a foul or offsides for a while and play continues bc the head ref never looks at the side ref?

There is an account that posted regarding a referee getting assaulted in NJ at a U10 game over a corner/goal kick decision. It might just be propaganda because there are no posted news stories about it. Can anyone confirm if this happened and where?
