Does Copa REALLY have 2 2011 teams (ECRL and EDP)? They have 20 girls on the 2011 team and then they have a EDP Premier-6 team. Did they really get that many to sign up or are they just a squad of 20 the plays both? If enough girls for 2 teams, you wonder who is on the EDP team

Copa is going to be an outlier. Most of the other teams had a huge influx in new girls coming in to play ECRL. Some of the teams are going to be a lot better than teams in the the legacy division

problem at copa they let good players leave and to many coaches or Doc with ego problem

You kind of have to move to ECRL because EDP teams get diluted and then there are not many good teams left.

Diluting ECNL a little might be the best thing for the sport - especially in parts of NJ. I think a lot of kids wouldnt make the trip to WC, MF or PDA especially in the Essex/Union/Hudson County area. This has historically been Cedar Stars territory, but most kids have to travel 45m+ to WC, STA, MFA or PDA. Monmouth county probably needs one also beyond CSA's GA team. You can also probably add one in the generally philly area up to Trenton.

Copa had 4 games last weekend (2 each for 2011 & 2010). Anyone know the scores? They are not reported on the site yet

It’s club v club, they have to be there if the older ones are. This is my issue with club v club. Half the teams you play should probably be in a higher or lower league that you, but you have to play them anyway

SCP/PDA Sparta couldn't even field a 2011 team and had to pay NJ14 to take their spot in ECRL Northeast. Wonder what happens with their older teams in December!!!!!

isnt NJ14 just a "town team" posing as a club (nothing against them, I think it is a great idea in order to get players from outside of town)?
