Interesting how the once top team in NJ has no fallen to the point of being the punchline to everyones joke. Once a team filled with some of the best players now a team with 3 or 4 good kids and a bunch of EDP players. DB has really screwed this team up and ruined all the work RT put into it. Losing all the PA girls, losing the better goalkeeper, and losing 2 of your best defenders is really the final straw for this team. Even the mighty GH can't save this team. If I were one of the original CSA parents I'd jump ship now, rather than be associated with the downfall of this team.

I don't think RT gave up on them, I think he was pushed out. Say what you will about RT, at least he knew how to fill a roster with talented kids. All DB is doing is filling the roster with USYS and EDP level kids that were playing 3rd and 4th brackets. I feel bad for the original CSA kids on this team. They were once able to say they were on the #1 team in the state, now they will be associated with a team that fell apart. Since Matchfit can't develop players, they cling to the 2-3 women who make it to the the pros and promote them endlessly without shame so he needs someone new in a few years to carry that torch when the current players retire.Comment
