It looked like they were just letting the other team have the ball and didn't know what they were doing. Was that a plan?

I didn't have the score available just went by what I was able to see in the run of play.

True but that is usually the better team that happens for and what I witnessed admittedly in bits and pieces was the blue team was the much better soccer team, actually connecting passes. I didn't see a single goal scored just hopped on when I could. And for the Mr. Consistency who posted, the only consistent thing I saw was PDA being outplayed.

Surf is a great team, but they weren't consistent today compared to other games we watched on film. They came out flat and a bit too confident and never recovered until the last 10min..
Solar is a good team too, but not consistent and probably get over rattled with how much their coach screams
San Juan looked good in the first half, but was not consistent in the second half at all.

Surf and Solar on their best day will beat us. But consistency is what will stack the odds in your favor if you have repeated match ups against good teams. Both teams have alot of depth
I don't think San Juan can beat us on the playoff stage, maybe at a west showcase where the conditional are more favorable to them. They have a top keeper, a good striker and phenominal midfielder but she doesn't always play with them.

consistency is in our favor, but can't rest. A surf/pda match up a year from now could easily go Surf's way.
In the first half I was able to catch I didn't see PDA get past midfield. The PDA goalie sure did take a few goal kicks/at least 5 in the 10 minutes I viewed.

We all see what we want..
But consistancy can also mean actually scoring when given the chance. Taking the shots when given the chance, being consistent in how you defend the opponent.

T.O.P doesn’t have anything to do with who wins in soccer. Only 1 thing measures wins and losses. PDA allowed less goals and that’s just a fact. Game over. Building the LEGACY!

just be clearer.. winner has to score more goals. they scored more goals in every game than the opponent.

True but how did they look so bad just when I was able to catch a few minutes/watch? That doesn't scream consistency or "consistancy". May try and catch the full match at some point given the score didn't match what pieces of the game I saw.

No knock on the kids just an observation of what I saw which admittedly was in short chunks. The blue shirted team was the better team when I was watching. Did the PDA fans miss the part when it was noted the whole match wasn't watched? Good grief you would think the PDA parents played in the game.

Who isn't clear about that? Just be clear what part confused you?

PDA Legacy Parent here! I would say we were the better team for at least the first 30 min of the game. We came out hot and scored 2 goals in the first 10 min. We had 2 or 3 other goal scoring opportunities that we didn’t finish in the first half. Fatigue set in towards the end of the first half and we weren’t as sharp.

Surf outplayed us in the 2nd half. They were down 2 and played with more urgency. Even with being outplayed in the 2nd half, we still created chances. There were 2 questionable offside calls that would have been goals for us and sealed the game. I have to go back and watch the film but I believe they were bad calls.

in the end, we did what was needed to get the job done. The girls are champions regardless of what you did or did not see.

Heard the PA Gang may be looking elsewhere, will be interesting if they can repeat at least if the two for sure leave.

Thanks captain obvious but how many minutes did you log with your "we did what was needed". You did nothing to win the game so let the kids have the credit and leave the WE out of it.

Every player, coach and parent played a role in today’s win. That’s just how it works on this team. I’m sorry you can’t relate.
