    Player Contract

If a player commits to a team, signs a contract and submits payment can a coach then call the player weeks later and say they are no longer needed?

Read the contract and see what it says. Why you asking us.

Can’t read the contract? I mean it’s not really that intense.
He really wants to know if it’s normal but most of us know these contracts only work in the favor of the club and they can pretty much do whatever they want.

Yes. Thays what's happening at MF Shore right now with all those rec players that just joined the 09nteam.in April. Kids are being moved down to the new RL team one by one as soon as DB finds replacements. At NJ Blaze, they don't pull those bait & switch moves. You sign up for the top team, you STAY on the top team!

Be glad they're letting you go. It means your kid wasn't really wanted and probably wouldn't play much. It also means the club sucks at roster management and doesn't believe in honoring commitments

Then get dinged for $380 for an “optional” training program.

I agree with everything said above except now the player has turned down all other offers and has no where to play. Old team has filled previous position and new team said oh sorry we are taking back our original offer we do not have a spot for you.

How is there any security when making these commitment decisions if coaches can do this? Doesn't seem right.

You obviously aren’t a part of Copa. They keep everyone and their money. They don’t make cuts.

These contracts are designed to protect the club not the player. It’s really horrible.

Assuming this is true, my question to the OG poster is were you told your child couldn’t be on the specific team you signed for or the club?

They don’t have to make cuts players leave after what they see

Not true Blaze has moved people down or told them they are on Black and play very little time with the black team and all the minutes with the red team.
