His kid is average at best. No where near the talent of the top 10 on the team.

Hate to burst your bubble, but it's the truth. DB is not carrying a roster of 25 on the ECNL team. And to be honest, some of those kids currently don't belong on there, especially any one the new kids that recently joined. You can post as much as you want about it not being true. Let's just revisit this thread in the fall and see who's right.

I spoke with Mr. Bucci last week about my 2009 daughter coming to the 09 ecnl team. He told me he was looking to only have a roster of 18-20 kids. I asked how many are currently on the roster, he replied 19, but said some of them will be moved to the new RL team in the fall. We left it at I would discuss with my wife and daughter and get back to him. We are away this week and next week and I will reach out to him when we get back. Based on that, it seems that the original poster is accurate, current rostered kids will be moved to the RL team.

Let's be very clear on something. This post goes out to the new kids joining MF 2009 ECNL and PDA Blue 2009 ECNL. Just remember one thing when your bragging to your friends and on fb that your kid is on the top teams in NJ. Your kid had absolutely NOTHING to do with the success of the team. I'm "friends" and I use that term loosely, with someone who's kid just joined MF. The parents are bragging like crazy about how amazing their kid is and that she's on the best team in NJ. Bragging like her kid was responsible for thier success. It turns out, their kid, if lucky, gets 5min a half. I asked them if they are ok with that little bit of playtime, and their response was "yes, it's with the top team in the state." I'm saying to myself, this is exactly whats wrong with certain parents. Worrying about development and training and playtime doesn't matter, just as long as you can brag on an Instagram post that your kid is on MF.
