25% of the team is not bad for U12->U13 conversion. This is the time where the parents think that their Suzzie is the best player ever after years of being one the best players on a town team (not even THE best). So they are willing to pay the extra money and spend the extra time travelling so Suzzie can be on the C/D/E/F team of a bigger club. After all, that's how you get a full paid D1 scholarship to a top 10 school. After all, the top girl on your team is going there and she needs someone to drive her 25%-50% of the time.

My kid made the B team of a bigger club. She will get opportunities to train with the A team and eventually she will move up once the coach notices her talent that all her other coaches have missed. But it would be nice to have a teammate to carpool with

Who cares about this town team? Girls will leave, that’s normal. Why would anyone stay in freehold. There is no future there for any of the good players. The training is subpar at best. Yes they recruited talented kids who are better off going to a different academy to develop because they didn’t make those kids good, they just recruited them. The kids they got were all better than their freehold girls which goes to show you that their development is not there. So that’s team falling apart was the best thing for those girls to move on and become better soccer players with a real trainer. Not a dad coach.

There's no development anywhere,,pda recruits a ton because they can't make their own kids better, what's your point? You likely left freehold to go to pda, a team that is recruiting kids that are better than what they have. A circular argument. Enjoy the factory that pda is, just mill through as many bodies as possible through large bloated rosters across blue, white, blue ecn rl, white ecnrl to find that diamond in the rough.
