Coach how many kids left your team to go to an ECNL team? Coaches from small town teams have to learn to embrace reality and come to terms with the fact that kids are going to move on when they get to highschool age. If they did that they could market their club as a pathway to a bigger academy. If they built a relationship with the Academies and worked with them they would even get referrals from the academy. Don't try to be more than what you are know your limitations.
