PDA makes the kids better and better players come into the system. Two things can be true at the same time.

So why don't the results match the rhetoric? How is 06 white faring this season? They are in the coveted age group for recruiting so why can't they win any games?

Is the argument they are trying to lose or didn't the coach develop anyone or didn't anyone new come over?

They are obviously a white parent attempting to justify in their own mind it is ok being second fiddle and don't really care what is best for the kid just what looks best or they would be playing elsewhere.

06 White couldn't even beat PDA South.

So not involved at all so please don’t crush my dreams. As an outsider how many teams in NJ are better then white at the higoschool level? Do you have names of those clubs so people like me who know nothing can at least understand better. Thanks.

Better than white? Outside the ECNL? There are none at the 05-age group, one perhaps at the 06-age group (NJ REAL) none at the 07-age group. Not sure about the 08-age group. If you take into account, the ECNL platform for college recruiting. then white would be tough to beat. for outside clubs. The tough part about joining white is that the training is nowhere near the training on Blue. You will always feel like number 2 at the club. but when parents then look around for a better option outside of the ECNL, you quickly realize that there is not a better option.

There's a huge problem at PDA over how White teams are treated but that's a topic for a different day. In a nutshell, PDA leverages the ECNL badge to attract talent. PDA White is still a better option than any GA club in NJ if your goal is to have first looks by college coaches and the perceived credibility of being a good player. People can debate over ECNL vs GA ad nauseam but at the end of the day, ECNL is the platform that matters today. Most of the posters here are from non-ECNL clubs.

Very true. Several White teams actually played in the EDP FALL CUP back in 2020 because Covid caused so many cancelations that year. They got embarrassed. One losing to CSA Bergen! They learned their lesson and made sure that was a mistake not to be repeated again. Better to just be embarrassed in ECNL.
