Anyone can look up team records for wins & losses. You need to assess the team environments on & off the field. Does the club treat their A & B teams fairly? How does the coach treat the players? Are there clear favorites? And most importantly how do the players treat eachother? Do the parents interact with eachother well? All of these factors will help determine happy players & parents. Parents are the customers $$$, if they don’t like how things are run or how their child is treated, they will move their player. If the kids aren’t happy, they won’t play their best, therefore they won’t develop and won’t be a contender. Worst case scenario, if the coach or other players don’t include them, aren’t friendly to them, or down right mean/bullying they will be miserable and can lose interest in playing altogether.

MFA, NJC, STA, and WCFC are all decent options in North Jersey but don’t let anyone fool none of them will turn your child into a Superstar Player with miraculous development. You need to invest in some supplemental trainings and stay on top of your child’s development.

If the “end game” is for your daughter wanting to play in college then go look up every clubs alumni list. See where their players have gone onto play in college for the last 5 years. If they have no list or incomplete then you know immediately about the club. “It is what it is” as far as their players going on to play in college.
