A high level GA team would not be matched up against lower level town team so stop the nonsense. The days of any town teams being any good are long gone, those teams used to exist 10-15 years ago.

Just the older teams struggle which is when the development really shows up. GA is just EDP with a different set of letters in NJ. Why would CSA even want to be comparing themselves to Wall. There is zero talent at Wall so what is the big deal CSA says they have more talent. So does everyone if compared to Wall. Pick a good EDP club/team.

Did not think there were any good EDP clubs/teams left. The level of play has dropped off significantly and a lot of those players are playing GA now.

All the top talent is concentrated in GAL now. Jump on board or be left in the dust.

You just admitted GA is just EDP with different letters. There were no good EDP teams with high level talent to leave so weak players left weak EDP teams to join weak GA teams.

Same weak players just different league/uniforms.

Fair take, EDP has dwindled down in quality dramatically over the last 2-3 years. It’s a real shame as GA is stealing all the top players.

EDP was a much stronger/broader platform that did a better job of promoting/relegating teams in lieu of just clubs dictating where they will be placed etc. Problem is the clubs need all their teams good and crappy to have the same draw so they decided to create new leagues/platforms so they can appear more desirable as a whole. Reality is these larger clubs/businesses all have maybe only a couple teams worthy of their elite status (they gave themselves BTW) so the EDP model just wasn't a good overall business model for the clubs. Was better for the kids which is why it is dying and won't be as significant a part of the soccer landscape/path forward.

IMO there was nothing inherently wrong with EDP and all its warts with ECNL as an Elite option. Now it seems there are "elite" options all over the place when reality is they aren't elite at all.

TRUTH. All about the $$$$. Everyone is “elite”.

EDP model is a thing of the past now. Business first, soccer second so GA has taken oven.

Not surprised as GA has not only surpassed EDP but ECNL too.

ECNL has 2 good teams in every division and a bunch of doormats.

GA has no good teams in this area so ECNL already ahead by a wide margin.
