I don’t think ECNL would be dumb enough to continue watering down the league. The only clubs ECNL should take are top GA clubs. While Ukies have some good years, STA is in a better place. CSA are much beneath those two. IMO, they shouldn’t even add STA.

Obviously people don't understand how ECNL chooses clubs, hint: it isn't just their record in GA or against ECNL teams. Ukies have 0, let me repeat that, 0 credibility of past success. They don't have players making any kind of impact at the college level or at the regional or national club level, which is on the ECNL application. Ukies has always been a club that has had really strong u10-u13 teams but at u14 start to break down and fall apart. Anyone who has been around before covid knows this about them. Just check out year over year for them, the 09s and 07s are still winning but they went from blow outs to close games in just a year.

Didnt they go from EDP to playing GA (former GDA) clubs in that time? Theoretically there should be much less attrition now that they have a respectable national platform and blowouts harder to achieve since they play better teams.
