    Carding questions

Do the leagues above EDP - but managed by EDP Soccer - count as a different league for carding purposes? For example could someone play for a top academy in whatever competition (USYS MidAtlantic) they might be in and then be secondary carded to just play a regular EDP league for their local town team?

Is there a top league governed by US club instead where this is feasible because it would be two separate primary cards?

        • Club pass players - Section 6.F
          • Players may only play for ONE club in (LEAGUE NAME).
          • Players may NOT play for teams in more than one club in (LEAGUE NAME
          • Within the club as defined by your state associations registration platform, players are permitted to play as a club pass player on a different team within the club, given they fall under the age/gender restrictions for that team.
          • Maximum allowed
        • Secondary players - Section 6.G
          • Secondary Permission players a player may play with a club with his/her primary card in League A, and play with a club using a secondary permission in League B. Implementation of secondary permissions is determined by the respective State Association and Leagues, check your local league and state policy or with your league registrar for details.
          • If a player is a primary player on a team in (LEAGUE NAME), they can not be Secondary Permission player in (LEAGUE NAME)

you can email EDP (the league) to confirm but i'm pretty sure this is not allowed. even though it's the USYS conference managed by EDP, i think it's considered part of the "EDP league". a player could be carded on both a USYS team and US Club Soccer team at the same time though. ECNL/RL and GA teams are managed by US Club Soccer.

I had the same question, I was told this:

Yes, as long as she's not carded to another club within the same division or club passing down

            Thank you,
