Brian is refreshing and one of the few who walks the talk. One of only a handful over the years that I have come across that has not allowed the business side to ruin the passion and goal of player development.

He may be a good guy, but as the OP said, team is falling apart. GA and ECNL just too strong an appeal for this level of team.

Not really his or the teams loss. The kids who are moving will find out it wasn't a very prudent move. They will get lost in the ECNL shuffle and if they do continue to play will end up where they would have just by staying at NLSA.

One of the players moved on is the directors daughter, who moved to SJEB. Guess the director is either really smart, or really dumb.

He is a parent so take that move with a grain of salt. He knows better but like most parents just can't help himself thinking his kid is the next thing. Rob is a nice guy but doesn't know very much about the soccer end of things. You would think he had enough examples of it but it is hard to say no to your kids about something not very important in the big picture.

There is a reason he moved her to SJEB, first he is friends with the upper staff and second SJEB is working on creating an SJEB North/Central which was one of the things they merged with Rush for but Rush Central didn't want anything to do with them. His daughter is a great player so why didn't she go to Blue? She plays with some Blue starters at her HS (Pennington) and Blue is just as far as SJEB.

Maybe a talented player doesn’t need Blue. Ask the family at Real. Shouldn’t even be a question. People are truly naive when it comes to PDA. The kids good, how dare she not be at PDA Blue.

Most of the underclass plays at White or South. Not all that impressive. She is in a class by herself as far as freshman are concerned at Pennington.

Pennington and the wonder freshmen class tied my daughters public school team in a scrimmage and wasn't all that impressed. Rob is friends with everyone and SJEB North/Central what for? I think everyone has a different definition of great also. There are maybe a handful in the entire state and they weren't the freshman at PP.

So now this is an argument about going to PDA Blue vs SJEB. I guess the guy who said NLSA kids will end up the same place was wrong?

Despite the ECNL elites and what you have been brain washed to believe the GA offers a great platform. At its highest level you are simply not missing a beat. Peel off Blue and Penn Fusion and you soon come to realize the ECNL in this region isn’t that special.

I don't question that GA can't, my remark is more of why SJEB instead of Blue considering they are traveling 1-1.5hrs per practice one way. They could go to South, White, Blue, Real, Bucks, Ukies or CSA and be recruited by the same schools and the travel would all be closer.

Never confuse a scrimmage with an actual game

The freshman class list of 8 that I could Google real quick came up as SJEB GA, Blue 08, South 07, Bucks 08, MF 08, 2x White 08s, and YMS. Most HS coaches would kill for that kind of list for the entire team. Oh, and the junior 40 goal scorer is from CSA Mon 06. Then again I guess any HS team can look amazing when your toughest match is against Paul VI which is why HS is a joke.

There are no 08’s from blue and the 40 goal scorer plays for NJ Real.
