Why was Berhalter chosen as the coach? His brother was CFO of MLS. There is an understanding between US Soccer and MLS that the national team will have a minimum of 6 MLS players on the roster. Berhalter substitutions followed that MLS guideline. Other than Acosta’s great fouL on Bale tell us what another MLS substitute did to help this team. To leave Reyna and Scalli on the bench with Morris and Yedlin instead is a joke. Imagine if they would have started Long/Zimmerman at CB for this match? Against England I would play Cameron Carter-Vickers and Ream at CB. Also start GIA and Aaronson.

Team played well in the first half, fairly dominant. Other than the beautiful pass and score from Pulisic to Weah, the offensive quality was poor all game. We are going to miss Chris Richards our best back, and the entire world is wondering why in such a huge game the coach chose to leave his best player on the bench.
