Personally I think it is crazy to have 11 year olds play in this kind of weather.

Been through this already during a Nor Easter. They will have you play regardless. Bundle up! At least it’s not raining.

I am sure they will do something like shorten the games so you still play the game and they do not have to worry about people wanting refunds. But then you can be driving 4 hours round trip to play basically half a game

State cup is terrible about how they handle weather conditions. They have no regard for their young players and care only about the $$.

Temps are also way below average for this time of year, at least 10-15 degrees lower and the wind miserable. Last weekend it was in the 70s. Sometimes weather just doesn't go your way.

Saw some of the U12 girls games between my son's games. Very lopsided. Talked to one parent and they said they grouped a bunch of EDP P-II and EDP P-V in the same group (with III and IV). He thought it was to save money because they had to pay refs (and triophies) for one last game (2 groups of 4 where only the top of each side makes it to the finals instead of 2 independent groups where there would be 2 finals). I looked at the setup. They had 12 teams, and did 1 independent group of 4 as well. Looking at the teams, they probably should have done 4 groups of 3, where the Top A#2 would play the Top B#1 and A#1 plays B#2 (and the #3's play each other) and then the winners and losers play each other. I like this setup much better

Fall Soccer should end Halloween or 1st week of November. 2nd 3rd week November is always sketchy. Pre-play your final 2 games & end earlier

Soccer the only game that can change rules halfway in and still hand out medals. Hope that check for the 33% credit comes soon!
