They did not go toe to toe with top ECNL teams. All of those GA wins were essentially against bottom table ECNL teams. Pipeline alone provided 40% of the GA wins.

GA played the gambit of ECNL with most of ECNLs wins coming from PDA Blue, WC, Maryland United and SUSA. Each of those teams were top 50 in ECNL, that 06 Bergan team was 9th in their division while Maryland United ranked 49th in ECNL. Give it up already, ECNL in this part of the US isn't as dominant as it is in the rest of the country.

Not that a club makes money hand over fist and can't even provide a clean facility for a soccer mom to drop trou as the pile comes right up to tickle her fanny. Not that people have to push cars out of the mud when they are stuck. The message is my Range Rover needs a wash after the game.

Soccer Nut, World Class shares that facility with Orangeburg Soccer. World Class plays out of Orangeburg Soccer. Yes they have a nice facility but again they SHARE that with the town and technically they play out of Orangeburg Soccer. STA c'mon now lol lol don't even go there but I like the comedy. Again STA plays out of Morris United Soccer Fields and they have fields all over the place. Nothing wrong with that but again C'mon son lol lol. Oakwood has two turf field and I believe an indoor facility that is not at the same location as their fields. It my memory serves me correctly they do have bleachers also with an overhang. Again PDA's North Complex has Ten (10) fields and when was the last big tournament you seen Oakwood host. Again nothing wrong with them but again these are not APPLES to APPLES that we are comparing. CFC has a nice facility or facilities as they have multiple locations throughout the state. Again when is the last tournament you been at CFC. Nothing against them but we are not comparing APPLES to APPLES. There is a reason why these club can not compare or host larger scale tournaments as PDA does. FACILITY restraints and imagine if you tried to host an event as PDA does at any of these venues you list. I can't imagine the message boards lol lol lol

How would you know that? From my experience with my older son and daughter, the college scouts don't go to these tournaments wearing any sort of identifying hats, jackets, etc. They try to blend in with the parents. Did you physically go up to every single person on the sidelines and ask who they were?

Your clueless. They absolutely were school gear. They usually sit off to the corners. They have ipads , brouchures and folder/ binders and back packs with the school name on it as well.

If they are all mediocre and they beat all the teams in the area by a lot, what that says about your team coaches.

Let's break it down to the most recent showcase - there was no winning by a lot happening, unless you consider coming in 2nd, 3rd beating everyone. Or first in the lowest bracket - not much to talk about there.

Having watched many of these games there was little difference between the teams except for the 2004/5 BLUE team - they are very strong.

I call bull****. A college scout would not be wearing anything identifiable. They would have to deal with a ton of parents annoying the **** out of them. They want to blend in as much as possible and not create a scene. I know plenty of parents who think their kid is the next Carli Lloyd. If these parents saw a scout on the sidelines they wouldn't hesitate to tell this guy about how amazing their kid is.

I've been in and out of this board for about 6-7 years now. I've seen a lot of weird comments, clueless, some are outright lies. Not sure how to categorize this one. It's certainly 100% incorrect, so now I'm looking to understand if it's intentional, trolling, or just clueless. Can't make up my mind, though.

having more than 8 porta potties at the entire main complex would have been nice. By 11am those things are terrible.

Perhaps use some of the $ we are forced to fundraise every year for toilets and decent sanitary conditions. It’s embarrassing!

Has your kid played on the grass field on the street? That one is awful. So are the other grass fields and the ones down the street. I'll add that PDA doesn't provide their players with an indoor facility (rent, own, borrow), anything. Every other GA/ECNL club in the area provides indoor training so that teams don't have to miss all winter. That is why we see so many PDA players in private training all over the state. Not because they want to get better, but because they simply don't practice enough.

You are getting too angry in trying to explain your thoughts. We are all glad you LOVE PDA and LOVE the facility. But again it is not owned by PDA, its a lease and they do not offer the best in class facility to their players or their guests.
I will defend Soccer Nut every single time, simply because he is kind and clear.
