I have noticed so many youth town clubs posting scores of games and naming the teams they beat. On top of that they post statistics such as goals, shots, shutouts, etc. Isn’t a club posting this show it’s true colors having no respect for development nor their opponents? I wouldn’t want my child playing for them. Especially seeing these posts about 8-10 year olds!

That’s because these little local towns have descent teams at U9 but lose all of their players to local bigger clubs. They need to put the wins to be relevant but I agree about the lack of class putting team or club names. Specifically anywhere from U12 and down

Posting about weekly matches is excessive but I see nothing wrong with posting about the season in full. Especially in cases of an abnormal result.
And it is a recruitment tool - probably less outward reaching than the clubs would like - but it's one of the few things town teams can do to build excitement around the club and fight the war against the academies and "professional" town teams.

happens everywhere all the time-like soccer parents and clubs posting the "congrats to the EDP tournament champions" - not including that the team actually won flight #3 or below

I’ve seen weekly scored in the local paper for decades. Hockey, baseball, football, soccer, basketball, swimming, literally everything.
When did that become a problem to the Range Rover club parents?

Academy teams do it as well. You have to much time on your hands to worry about who is posting or what club is doing what. Let the teams and clubs enjoy there season. It’s all about the kids
