Agree, some really solid town teams out there like Wall and some sub par academies like CSA, PSA you name it. Might develop better with better coaching and a nice family environment on a town club. Do your research folks

at younger ages PDA seems to "play everyone somewhat equally". At what age does this stop? I see it is still going at U12. I guess when you hit ENCL (and not the pre stuff) at U13, that is when it changes?

Someone once said to me "Don't pay for a B Team at PDA." I brushed it off as it coming from a place of hate or jealousy towards PDA. Many years later, sadly, I learned they were right.

No, PDA White does not train or scrimmage with Blue. Arguably, this is way for White players to get better but there is no opportunity to play along side or against Blue players on a regular basis where they might learn things that cannot be learned from playing along side or against the same White players day in and day out.

No, PDA White is not there to develop your player. The team will get better at the older ages through continually adding and cutting White players. Your player will need to develop on their own. You will need to find opportunities outside of PDA to challenge your daughter and help her maintain her level of play. This is particularly paramount if your kids is one of the better players on White.

No, PDA White will not get the attention of the college coaches. Heck, not even some HS coaches. If they do get attention from college coaches (to the schools worth attending for soccer), it'll be after those college coaches have exhausted all Blue players. Yes, even the Blue bench.

Better coaching and training is the key. Town team can be just as good if not better than academy in many cases. Then the rest is up to the player. Wall 06 and 07 are good teams but what else do they have?

Completely false.... they play at the same place. My kid is on white and we don't feel like 2nd class citizens... don't listen to the haters on here.

Best to just bring your kid to practice and check the coaching and practices out yourself. Be careful who you listen to on this site as many of the posts are the same person talking ****.

Don’t feel too bad. I was told the same a few years ago and also ignored the advice and my D accepted a White offer. Like you, I learned the hard way what a disastrous decision that was!
