All of the above is true. Let me add at Christmas American kids get media devices and games while around the world most kids get new cleats, soccer balls and football kits. Around the world soccer is played 7 days a week. In the States it’s training 2-3 times per week for 1.5 hour session with a game on the weekend. It has nothing to do with better coaches or trainers. It has nothing to do with the parents biggest excuse development. It has everything to do with lifestyle and those players who “live” soccer on their own and what they do individually on their own. My daughter played on a very competitive club team but she wanted to play D1 so she came up with her own training plan. Used cones for dribbling and one touch, played “wall ball” and went to those parks where they played pick up games. She learned more from those open form matches than scrimmaging with her club.

Where are all these women coaches? I'm all for diversity but I'm not going to go with a team just because the have a female Coach. She has to be good. I do advocate for more female coaches but they don't seem to want to coach.

It's a tough career for women because they still do a lot of the child rearing and other tasks. Have to have a very supportive husband - while society largely thinks its OK for a man to work every weekend. Every good female coach I've k own quickly moved into college or pro coaching. More stable + more predictable schedule + decent benefits

As long as it's a business that what it will be. People complaining is part of American culture. Sometimes it’s true sometimes it isn’t. Don’t like it don't read it. The end.
