Some of these kids turn down schools because of amount of money they have on hand but they got offers from these universities to get in. Schools they had no chance of getting into otherwise Sometimes half of 75k is still too expensive. Do college coaches know the different between the PDA teams? If my kid is on PDA white team but just lists as PDA ECNL- do they know?

This narrative is a joke. There’s no significant money in soccer. There’s no chance an elite school in which they had no chance of getting into got there because of soccer. Elite students don’t need the game nor 1/20th of the dollar pool. Glad soccer got your daughter over the hump at a school with a 50% acceptance rate.

OFcourse they know the difference but if it's a type of player that they are looking for then they will be interested in them wheteher blue or white Think about it for a second , they are still playing and showcasing against ECNL teams.

My Daughter is a Sophomore playing in college. Not the best program but it’s D1 non the less. We left PDA in high school. The mix with the coach wasn’t right. We went to STA and things turned out fine. I agree with the post above. Other than the best of the best which is a small group the rest can find their way at just about any club. The best of the best need the big brand names to get them to the elite programs.
