All high school coaches deserve to be appreciated. However some schools hire actual coaches while others will hire a teacher with some soccer experience.

By some do you mean played for the school, not in college, a few decades ago?

Look at your kids club soccer coach. Our at PDA coach didn’t go to college and his soccer playing experience is fuzzy and everyone says something different.

Some of the coaches on the White side never played soccer. It’s all in the family at PDA.

What high school program prepares the player for the rest of the 9-10 months of club ball? Which program helps the players improve? Most players after high school soccer return physically fatigued, technically, tactically and mentally worse than when they started HS ball. The 6 days of week do nothing for a player. Win…..win…..win…..enjoy. I don’t the HS drama.

HS soccer is just about fun. There is not a single perfect program with all equally skilled players. The club players all know that. We haven’t experienced our child mentally worse or fatigued. We saw last year as freshman on varsity it benefited her fitness, game as she was playing with much older kids. I can see by Junior/Senior it will be an issue.

Hurley isn’t perfect but maybe if your kid stopped mouthing off, rolling eyes, throwing water bottles…she could catch (not just touch) the ball.

I sat behind her against Manchester. There are two others that are a bit crazy too. Unbelievable comments about girls on her own team and for other team. It was appalling to say the least

St Rose has a new coach every year. Parents complain and get the coach fired and then complain about the replacement coach. Who in their right mind would ever want to coach there

You just showed your true colors KL, you need to realize we all watch your daughters behavior and it becomes very abrasive, cursing at teammates and blaming them for everything instead of taking account that she can’t catch a ball. Kicking bags, talking back to the coaches, she’s not shedding a good light on herself and you aren’t helping with your behavior in the stands

Bingo. You know it’s KL when it’s a giant run on sentence rambling and at some point the word “listen” is used. All of her posts come in at the same time on all threads praising her kid. If we didn’t hear the same in the stands “The team is letting her down” or “they have given up it’s not her fault” then you could claim it wasn’t KL. But it’s almost laughable at this point.

The kid has a bad attitude. And complains to anyone who will listen that she cannot stand her overbearing and embarrassing mother. Stop telling people she’s going D1. It’s not gonna happen and you are the reason why.

That’s laughable that she’s going D1. The crossbar has made more saves then she has this season
