Soccer Youth All-American Series Golden Cup

My daughter was chosen to play in the Soccer Youth All-American Series Golden Cup in Florida at the end of the year. I'm so proud of her! Does anyone know where I can find a list of coaches that will be in attendance? Does anyone have experience having their kids play in all american games like this? Not sure wht to expect

Any parent willing to travel to FL and fork over an additional $495 is "chosen" to play. Hopefully you are trolling and not actually wasting your $$ on this. There will not be any top level players there.

Money grab, everyone just about makes it. You're paying for training and games, plus flight and hotel. Make a vacation out of it and enjoy

If you do both does it increase your chance of going D1?

Everyone on this board are experts and thinks everything stinks and everything is a money grab.

All-American seems fun. Why not get your kid in a new environment. Plus, who doesn't love FL in Dec?

Actually your kid will get scouted to play pro immediately and also get called up to the national team.

But make sure it’s on parent run IG first. Then everything falls into place.

Stop being an a hole, if the parents can afford let kid play, game is a game.
Let kiddo play with a new team, meet new kids, it is all a part of growing up experience. Not all kids that play now will play in D1, but they will be a better humans because of playing sports and being an athlete. They are not talented soccer players as your kid, butt they are talented in something else. Teach your superstar to be nice to other kids, one day she/he may need a good doctor, lawyer, engineer or cook. Life is much longer than first 22 years.

And we wonder why the US can't get the best players.

I'm a full-blooded capitalist, but scams like this are just ridiculous.

No, i don't work for ODP, my kid is on an ECNL team, probably will play D1. I am tired of these obnoxious parents that think they know everything because their kid is a star athlete. Let them figure out on their own, what works for your kids may not work for other. And teach your kid to stay humble, you newer know what future holds.
