Completely agree, hence PDA putting over 50+ players in college soccer each year vs other clubs (CSA, PSA etc) virtually none is what it’s all about. No one cares that PDA beat CSA 9-0, no one.

Seriously, how is that a club of that size with 3 Ecnl teams puts only 50+ players in college every year.
My kids club, that is a 1/3 size of PDA, if that, (also an ECNL club) have in average 35-40 kids committed to play in college (girls only) every year. It just doesn’t sound right.

You didn’t mention the name of your kids club that sends 35-40 to play in college. What ECNL Club?

what’s considered a handful to you? A handful of sand is much more than a handful of tennis balls. I counted between 10-15 really good colleges. And that’s just considering either academic and or good high level D-1 soccer

The question is why did PDA run up the score on CSA if these games truly don’t mean anything? Or is the talent and coaching gap that big that even going through the motions they still win by almost double digits?

Well if you take 55 girls it’s basically every girl from the ECNL teams. The RL teams would amount to their 4-6 teams. So your ECNL club probably doesn’t have 2 or 3 ECNL teams and maybe your RL team is better than our RL team and maybe they get recruited more heavily than PDA’s RL teams. This is just a theory though.

You are ignoring the fact that PDA white is their 2nd team and PDA south is their 3rd team. Most ECNL teams have the ECNL team ( 1st team), ECRL (2nd team). Well most clubs by you comment have 30% of their Second team play in college. PDA is 100% of 2nd team and 90% of 3rd team

Great stats about college but are the girls treated well and happy and enjoying the process? Or are we in it to say we play at PDA…putting our child’s mental health and well being before our egos is what good parents would do. I question why we endure this when the coaches & even managers act so awful to the girls

what exactly does it matter who exactly wins these games/tournaments? what really matters is which clubs are developing players to be better versions of themselves not just recruiting and winning games

Development means making kids better players. You can only play to learn for so long and at some point you have to play to win. If your kid's team is not winning games, at some point you have to consider the possibility that either a) the coach is not good or b) your kid is not getting better or c) it's the kids around your kid are not getting better. At which point I would think about how important it is for my kid to improve. If your kid's enjoys the team and they don't mind not improving just stay, but don't expect more out of it than fun and exercise.

Either way, CSA should be given a chance to prove themselves. It’s a rigged system favoring some and ignoring others. Change is needed.
