PDA 2011 Blue is a great team but it certainly seems like the gap is closing. They are deep so maybe that changes going 11v11.

      Delco 3-2 over MFA
      Bethesda 1-1 Penn Fusion
      PDA Blue 8-0 PDA South

Gap is closing? One PA team beat them, the other one tied, MFA is probably a toss up.
For your info, the gap has been closed long time ago, if ever existed, comparing to the some of the better ECNL teams. You guys hyped that team like they are a national champions already.

I guess that is what the PDA parents of 2010 team were talking last year.

Very true, 2010 Parents last spring were adamant they were losing only because they were preparing for 11v11. 2011 PDA is good, but they won't just automatically improve when going to 11v11. Connecting multiple 5 yard passes is impressive for 11 yr olds, but eventually you need to turn it into actual offense within a game flow and not just following your coaches constant marching order.

                2010 completes passes?

Everyone always talks about how the top clubs will replace players and recruit etc…. Where are these girls coming from? Does that really happen? At a certain point I assume all the talent has already been consolidated… what age do things settle down?

You are right, I think is is mostly supporting crew (12-18 players on the roster), that is going to change, the top talented players, unless something happen to them, stay on the team until college.

Looks like poster is saying 2011s connect lots of little passes and go nowhere. I only partially agree as they usually get up to midfield or 2/3rds up field before realizing they have no plan in the finishing 1/3rd. Very good team, but coach is out of breath from telling them what to do all the way up the field that he has to take a break once they get close to scoring and they have no idea what to do on their own.

That is to harsh, they played against my kid's team, league game, they are very good, well coached and as a team probably one of the best in league. The kids know what to do with the ball and where to be on the field. I see a lot of folks here are questioning their individual skills, I can tell you they are on the same level as rest of the top players in the league.
Anyway, looking forward to see how everything develops between the 4 top teams in league (MFA, PF , PDA and Delco). A great competition has been established, a threshold has been set, let see where we end in 5-6 years. I bet you a lot of these girls playing against each other now, will end on the same college team or in the same conference.

Very few of these girls will be playing in college at all so it is naïve to think a lot will end up on the same team unless you mean PDA girls together at Rutgers.

In this parents mind, the D1 scholarships have already been decided at U little.

Do not know about everything you have said but LH is the envy of most parents at PDA. Ask anyone in confidence and they would love to have him as their coach. Have seen multiple teams play a mindless game on those fields.
