Some of the highest real estate taxes in the country (friend pays $35,000 per yr in RE taxes; per year)...this is bull****. Know others who lost their shirts under this crazy governor under covid and his bull**** mandates while he dined unmasked with crowds and hosted a wedding.

The school officials have a duty to not waste our generous donations to it from our taxes. Nfking kidding. Heads should roll.

That’s about $10 per day per player if they ordered every day.

They just generated 70mm+ per year in additional revenue. I think they are entitled to eat well.

Property taxes are local, not state. You're paying pennies to the school's total budget. Move to FL if you hate the tax structure that much. Your kids will get a crap education, but it's cheaper!

                Fun facts:

Only 20% of the total operating budget comes from the state.
The athletic budget is 2.7% of total expenses.
Football revenues pay for the football program.
None of your property tax $ are paying for the football team.
Good luck feeding D1 football players PB&Js
