Anyone else experiencing the same, my son will be on his 3rd different coach in the past year. We keep getting the same generic message that the previous coach had to step away for so and so reason, just trying to figure out how to explain tthis to my kid.

Too many clubs and teams, not enough coaches. Easy to leverage into more money, better gigs. So they leave.
it’s also a part time gig for 90% of these people, so life situation changes, they leave.

It's common. Coaches decide to stop coaching club, go and coach college, leave for another club, move away, have family commitments, etc. My 2010 daughter who has played club since 1st grade has seen all of these reasons. Also, kids move around every year so she has not had 100% same teammates the following year.

Tell him he's lucky to be able to play organized soccer. There are some kids that have to play on the street with trash can as goals and their parents never come to see them play. Some kids in less fortunate places don't even have shoes to wear so they play barefooted. Make a difference and send poor kids your lightly used cleats.

He better get used to it. Position it as "new chance the learn new things" which is true. You do want stability, but also the rule of thumb is teams don't stay with one team more than two years.
High turnover rates can be a sign of club instability or poor management, however, turnover is quite common. If this new one doesn't last then definitely look at other clubs. However, keep in mind that especially for younger teams, lower leagues coach pay is terrible. Coaches have to string together multiple gigs/teams plus have a second job. The ones that want to make it their career will leap at chances to coach in college or professional teams. Some give up and move to a different career with better pay and stability.
