All American game is for seniors only. RP has 1 senior and the rest of the team is underclassmen.

RBC Fans - Falling short this year must really hurt. You think a FL led team would lose a game like today? Great job running him out of town. I imagine he is laughing his ass off today that RBC couldn't even score on Trinity Hall.

Sad they had to resort to trying to take out the Trinity goalie because couldn’t get things done the right way!

I'm not suprised. Several of their forwards are dirty players.

Why are some girls varsity coaches so inept when other schools have real qualified coaches? Is it a financial issue or a lack of regard for girls programs?

Both. Some athletic directors don't care about girls soccer at all. Our local highschool team was coached by the gym teacher for over 20 years.

It's called teachers unions. Unfortunately qualified coaches that may apply for an opening that are not a teacher or outside the district aren't even looked at if a teacher inside the district decides to apply for the job. Of no teacher applies for the job. Then they open it up to outside applications. That's for oublic schools. Obviously private / catholic schools have their own set of rules.

Sure yet she needed a lucky break from the ref to even get mentioned as playing in the game.

Pretty sure the PP stud who had a goal and an assist was too much for the entire RP team let alone just a triple team.

Didn't anyone tell RP she was going to score against them?

She tossed in a beautiful outside of the boot pass which easily beat 2 defenders for the assist.

Wonder if coach mentioned to mark her at all?

Must run in the PDA handbook. My kid got rolled by a PDA alum in the States also.

Must be frustrating losing to EDP kids when you have several PDA ECNL players on the roster yet can't win against teams with zero ECNL kids.

Nothing special. Right back didn’t play the position properly two times and paid for it. But that All American doesn’t need man marking. I am not saying she isn’t good but she wasn’t what I would expect from an All American. Those two up top should have had 10 goals that game. The middle of the field was PP’s and RP kept turning the ball over in the middle but those two D1 forwards didn’t do too much.

Right back and 3 of her mates got danced around on the first goal so she wasn't alone in fault and the center back was the culprit/got spliced by that pass on the second goal with not the best spacing/field awareness. The CB being in the wrong place positionally allowed the space for the 2nd goal to happen.

yes they have a center back that’s normally a goalie and a freshman center back. Doesn’t help out the fact that a goalie is shutting down the All American. A goalie, a freshman, a sophomore and a forward that’s playing out of position. Those players gave up only 7 shots on goal to two D1 forwards, 1 supposedly All American. With midfield that was dominant, it is a bad performance by the forwards against that defense.

Well, we must have different definitions of shutting down as she had a goal and assist.

What would it have looked like if she wasn't "shut down"?-lol

She scored on a play where 5 RP players played horrendous defense. She didn’t dance around anyone, she literally bullied her way into the box. And she made a pass that’s expected of anyone on the field. Nothing special at all, pretty pedestrian. The true talent was getting triple teamed that day
