One team passed and controlled play the other bombed it from the backs to the fwds because the midfield stunk to high heaven.

Did you misread the sentence where I said the Pennington midfield played better than Rutgers Prep? But it didn’t amount to much. It’s not like they were gashing the team and getting shot after shot. The shots on goal were even at 7. If that’s all you have to say then I am not arguing with you. But games aren’t decided on who has the ball more or plays a pretty game. PP made one more shot than RP. That’s it.

Yeah you win. Your midfield was so great that you win by 1 goal. The way you are talking it should have been a 5-6 goal victory. RP should have been so bad according to you that they should not ever had the ball in your half let alone your 1/3.

Again you were doing so good until you used the words left behind. Using your own example let’s say a Sophmore. Sorry to disappoint but if a player doesn’t have a natural talent, skills, a strong club team and a list of other things they will be left behind! There are hundreds regionally and thousands nationally of other players that have those things that will get looked at. If you’re only talking about being left behind for high school soccer than they can play on JV. That’s what that level is for and that is totally fine. Keep in mind a varisty team is not just the learning and developing Sophmores. These teams have some College D1 committed Seniors and even Junior players! I will still agree not to bash player but don’t treat these teams like little girls who can’t take some criticism.

All American? Must just be a popularity vote. Non of those girls were a problem for RP. No man marking or dounle teams necessary at all. Only managed 7 shots on goal with a dominant midfield trying to feed them. PP had to triple team AH. And they could barely contain her. If she played for PP that day she would have had 10 goals.
