Is anyone shocked? That is not a shot at FK or Blaze even though it reads that way. These boutique clubs are all the same. They start with 1-2 trainers who were at bigger clubs and have some name recognition due to their previous success. They make themselves some cash short term and expand their reach. Ultimately theses boutiques fall apart more often than not for one of three reasons: conflicting personalities aka poor people skills at the top, lack of team depth per age group, lack of true competition ie GA, ECNL (even ECNL-RL) - your top players who are serious about playing in college will have to leave. Playing an occasional ECNL team or playing in an EDP/National League reg are not high level even at the top brackets. These are just facts.

Agree on 90% of this. I will add that ECNL specifically and even the ECNL-RL to a lesser degree are the standard because colleges dictate that they are. Rumors of GA folding seem to pop up daily but is still a better than the National League.
