As an ODP coach, even though we try our best not to notice what club kids are from, obviously there is at the very least a small amount of bias, which is why parents do it.

Sad thing is, at least at Ds age group, most of the ones wearing the patch club jersey or training shirt are either bench players or RL players. One I saw was an RL player that hadn't been on that team in over a year. You want real flex, you wear the Eastern ID stuff or last years ODP jersey and paint a real target on your back.
