The only thing not made up in the thread is that PDA South stinks at developing soccer players.

It is official....White was moved to NA to take over Souths spot as PDA South was put on notice for this coming year. PDA South hasn't put out a training schedule yet and is making excuses as to why the only tournaments they are doing are local ones. I expect ECNL NE will be courting NEFC to fill that spot.

NEFC will never move to ECNL.

Dude, you realize that everyone who posts on here is a soccer expert? They know everything about every club, and yet not one person has the balls to say what amazing club their kid plays at and explain why their kids club is the best.

Let ECNL kick south out. They will just go back down to EDP or GA and dominate for a year or two and then be right back in ECNL.

Even if they do somehow improve (shouldn't be that hard the bar is so low already) it would be because of the pickups not anything development wise from the PDA stiffs they have coaching for South.

You equate picking up other clubs best players=PDA development? I guess you could say they are developing a better team/program but definitely not "developing" any players to perform better.

South is so comfortable just collecting $ there is no incentive for them to improve. Why bother working for it when you make the same amount doing nothing.

Let ECNL kick south out. They will just go back down to EDP or GA and dominate for a year or two and then be right back in ECNL.

The teams they have left never dominated in EDP or RL. The teams that they used to get into ECNL have long been gone. The very best team they had left when they got to ECNL graduated that year and they still couldn't get a winning season.

Playoffs....LOLOLOLOLOL.... Non of those teams could get to the national showcase and you want to talk about playoffs.

If you can call those players picked up elite. I know a few teams lost better players then they brought on. Plus they still have the small group of coaches doing the same things. You can blame COVID all you want but COVID did change anything over the last year and a half. They haven't had restrictions on training, tournaments or scrimmages but yet South STILL doesn't expand what they offer. Have fun scrimmaging the ECNL below and the RL team above you and if you are lucky some town team from nearby. Have fun with your 30 minutes of chat, skills and rondo and 1hr of playing short field with the team. Have fun being berated by the coach for picking up outside training or asking to guest play somewhere else. South is a dumpster fire no one seems to want to put out.

I wouldn't classify myself an expert but I have seen a lot and helped guide a lot of parents who just don't know anything. I have taken D to many games outside her own club to watch friends and have talked with many parents from many different clubs and trainers and coaches. I would call myself more informed then anything.

People don't post what club or age they play for simple because of politics and trolls. Way to many vindictive coaches, trainers and parents.
