Keep hearing murmurs of a Real girls college showcase but can find no trace on their website or youth soccer calendars. Is this one of those “private” “invitational” events for clubs that won’t, don’t go to PDA showcase?

Yes. Only select few they can beat they chose … nor are scores from the boys showcase published. Hush hush.

Don’t want to publicize too much. Could be inconvenient. For instance that “awesome” 06 Real team playing in girls showcase against GA team that won just 3 of 16 league games (in the GA!) and another non-ECNL, non GA opponent from the (wait for it!) USYS league. That’s some invitational. Have to wonder what college coaches make of that.

A “murmur or rumor” is just that and nothing more. Unless you are told directly from the club then it’s Just parent sideline gossip.

I see. Schedule is there. Not exactly impressive. What is the use of playing a USYS team you’ve beaten how many times in a row?—5? 6? 7? Including just a few weeks ago in the state cup. Not very ambitious.
