GA? The 05/06s and 10s are the only team in a USYS division. The 07s and 09s are in division 3 and the 11s, 12s, and 13s are in division 4 and they don't even have an 08 team. Keystone and Real had multiple teams get into at least the USYS regionals before being let into the GA.

Stay at SJEB if she is getting the training. SJEB also has competitive futsal in the winter, while at South you'll be lucky to train once a week Jan/Feb after having all of Dec off. Wait until u13/u14 to really evaluate moving if you need to.

I just went through this exact decision. Just 2010 not 09. Trained with both teams all winter. Both coaches are great - WG for SJEB and KM for PDA. Parents on PDA seemed much less “cliquey”. PDA plays in ECNL which is head and shoulders above GA. In the long run PDA sends 10x as many girls to college as SJEB but SJEB is relatively new considering they are a merged team of the barons and rush (i think). We went with PDA and couldn’t be happier. The 09 PDA team also has great coaches, AS & DM are awesome And that team has a girl on it who is one of, if not the best, soccer players I’ve ever seen at that age.

PDA South coach Andy Schmitt was one of the worst coaches I have ever experienced. Showing up late to games/practices and his training sessions were terrible. His excuse is he has 5 kids. Then stay home with your kids…stop using it as a crutch. They have meds and surgery to control that. This guy is a joke! Real trains them hard and good. Definitely not getting $4k worth.

SJEB has been in SJ the longest and is just average; you would think they would have a grip.
Merger after merger chasing an identity and marketing they are the best and I just don’t see it with the players they send to colleges at any level. Seriously do your research. PDA South has more pro players and more players with success at the college level D1-D3( All conference, DOY, OPY, all region etc). That’s just the facts. If you want your daughter better prepared for college, go to PDA South.

Keep drinking the koolaid! They get crushed every time. They have no business being in ECNL.

I don’t have a dog in this fight but it is comical to watch people bend over backwards to try and act like PDA doesn’t send the most kids to college. If it’s not PDA, then why did she go there ? Why didn’t she just stay on whatever team she was on before ? It’s because everyone knows you will get the most exposure at PDA.
Lol. Whatever you do, don’t send your kid to a club that “only gets kids into Rutgers”. Why would you want to go to place with ties to a top 5 college program in the country.

The women’s coach for Rutgers is the president of PDA. That is why they are going there.
