NJ Crush had the better of the coaches and players than Bergen. Give this club the facilities they gave the other branches from Monmouth and Hudson and let them do their thing. From what we know, Crush was promised a facility, GA and that they would control the girls side. Unfortunately they never got the promised facility, CSA forced them to take on Tommy Bananas as a coach, the red Hamburgerlar tried controlling the girls branch and then gave the boys more access to fields, equipment, etc. The owner also isn’t aware of what was said and don’t to our daughters during their Arizona trip by Tommy Bananas. Not to mention that he hit us up for extra money, made false promises and hired recreational coaches to coach us along the way.

Exactly. Why would you play for him when you have LG, JN and SR at Crush?

Seek help. They are who they are. Not even the top of a lesser league.

Great Facilities have not done anything for Monmouth. You need great coaches more than great facilities. Look at a little local town club like Real. They have great coaches but not great facilities and are better than both CSA branches combined.

Are you the same guy that keeps posting this nonsense all the time?

CSA Bergen’s GA teams are all at the very bottom of their respective divisions. By contrast, Monmouth teams are generally at the very top of their divisions.

CSA Bergen GA teams are very, very weak across the board. Not even close to the level of the Monmouth branch.

And I say this with zero affiliation to either branch. But I have seen both club’s GA teams play a decent amount.

JN? Who the hell is that??? The only good coaches there are both SRs and now NM. LG is a nice guy who the club would be very low without both SRs there. They made a great move getting NM also.

Is JN the young lad with the shades? This post is clearly him playing his own drum. LG should get his Crush coaches to stay off of here and start with this chap. The only coaches you have are LG, SR, SR and now NM. The rest are full ins that parents don’t want their kids playing for.

Amen, CSA Monmouth is actually better than even PDA. Shame PDA keeps ducking them. Why not match up best of both leagues?

yes. I would only want my D playing for Simon or Steve. Neil for my older D would be the only consideration for leaving our current club. We would never entertain CSA Bergen without those guys involved.

                          Jack Nicholson coaches soccer?
The coaching? You can't handle the coaching!

Ultimately the people matter much more than facilities. Facilities will not train you and make you a better player. That’s why Monmouth even with great facilities is an average club still getting blown out by ECNL clubs.

JN is a phenomenal and class act coach! You would be lucky to have him as a coach for your daughter. NJC is extremely lucky to have him.

nJc will be better off breaking from CSA. The CSA Bergen Girl teams there play EDP and NJC /CSA are higher level skilled players and higher level leagues. (GA and National). Tommy’s teams just kick and run, kick and run. No skill being taught to those players. Not saying they don’t have talent but they won’t get anywhere with his training. Guy has a huge ego and is not very nice to his girls from what I have seen.
Best NJC coaches are Simon, Lee and Jack for sure. Karl is good too.

While this is very true many people are sold on nice facilities over great coaching and development.
