This one just shows the crazies on here saying spots will be taken. WCFC is still an average club besides the facility and PDA replaces kids yearly. They will take the best player as no player is “grandfathered” in.

CSA/NJCRUSHFC are not my daughter’s club but… Do people really think going to PDA before U13 can lock them up a spot for the future? Do you not understand that the team at U12 is completely different by U16? Also driving from Bergen down to PDA will play such a toll on your life and your child’s. Picking them up right after school so they can change, eat and do hw/study for the hour drive and then drive an hour back to finish hw, shower, get ready for the next day and get to bed at a descent time numerous times a week? Sounds like parents want it much more for their kid than the kid themselves.

Totally agree with you. Most likely a parent who played college soccer and pushing it for their own kid. Ridiculous to push a kid this far with no life at that age.
Kids have no idea what’s best for them at this age. Training & playing in a high expectation environment, up against the state and nation’s best weekly prepares them for life and career like little else could. Even if they end up getting dropped.
Are there former college parents pushing? Probably. Hopefully it’s not in an unhealthy way but I’m sure it exists. The car rides can be quality time, and much better than being glued to a device in their rooms.

The email was sent to parents with the announcement weeks ago. I’m not sure they’re rushing to the Associated Press from there!
