Fees are a hot topic especially at town clubs and the pseudo-academy and mid-level teams.
Total Team Fees for presuming 18 players in pseudo-academy environment:
Trainer: $1000/player/year
League/Ref/Carding: $600-$1000/team/year (avg $45/player)
Tournaments: $4000/team/year for 4-6 events (avg $225/player)
Indoor/Winter space/league: $300-$500/player
Facility Fees: ?
Club Admin Support: ?
Travel: ?
Presuming that it’s about $1,700 for the year to play so far. Bulk of expenses are trainer fees. Is that completely unrealistic for 9-10 months with on average 3-4 days a week excluding the winter? Leaving out the club admin and facility fees.
That number increases with the bigger named clubs but for just general mid-level play, is it indicative of what is out there in NJ?
