Tournament scheduled your 2nd game of the day against another team's first game?

Was at a minor tournament earlier in the month, and we had an 8am game and 10am game, where the 10am game was against a team who was playing at 10am and noon. Just doesnt seem right, does it?

Some would say it isn't fair that your team got a chance to warm up and get ready while the other team is coming in cold.

This is such a Karen thing to complain about. My son from NY plays in the cold and went to a tournament in Florida. He played against a team from Florida and they are used to the hot weather. They also didn’t have to travel and my son had some jet lag. The local team also had chairs but I couldn’t bring mine on the plane. Disadvantage. Can’t believe our coach didn’t complain.

Most of the ones I played at, when I was younger, Team A& B played at the same time, and team C & D played at the same time. Then a break, and A played C and B played D (at the same time). A played D and B played C the next day, and then the finals. During the "break" another set of teams played their first games and then they did the switch after the first group's second game. Just seemed like it was standard. If it was a smaller place without enough fields it was different, just seems strange not to standardize it

Many tournaments are partly survival of the fittest. Higher leagues only have one game per day, but that means a longer weekend

Nope my son is quiet comfortable on his team. I don’t know anything about MF. I do know when someone complains about crap like an unfair game time. Likely a u10 parent who thinks that age matters. Is that you?

What relevance is the State your son is from? Some would say living in NY or NJ isn't fair if you are a taxpayer.

Point is people can complain over everything like the Karen who originally posted such a stupid topic. If I’m from NY/NJ and travel to Florida to play, I don’t complain that it’s too hot for him or the local team has the advantage because they didn’t have to travel. Do you get it?
I don’t care about taxes. Perhaps you’re on the wrong blog bringing it up.
