So the process of getting that card per US Soccer Club laws are that the parents must request the cards from Matchfit. ECNL would need to allow those girls to play for another ECNL team, who knows if ECNL would do that in this situation? However the cards are not ECNL’s to release. Do not let the Clubs confuse the parents with the combination of both the ecnl and US soccer club rules. US club soccer does not frown upon kids moving to another team mid year. As they do state the players are not under contract. ECNL does have explicit rules against players switching mid year. However this specific situation might be different bc the kids were kicked off?

The parents have a good argument because even though the club kicked the kids off, MF knowingly asked for commitments for the following season way before they were supposed to. That's the reason why MF kicked them off. They wouldn't commit. Then to save face, they said the reason why the girls were kicked off was because they did outside training. That also is a crock of **** because EVERY SINGLE PLAYER on the 09 team does outside training.
