This guy is out interviewing for other jobs. He spent most of the last year getting certified so that he could leave the club. The club didn’t have the guts to fire him and then he disappears on the club over the summer. I hear he is coaching in another section of the country next year and referral calls are coming to people he trusts at the club. He has a buddy coach at the club that he trusts to be a good reference for him and he won’t be back next year if he get a job offer somewhere else.

Other threads on this site have mentioned it. He also got her coaching licenses this past year. I think it makes sense that we would leave right? If he was happy or comfortable with Real why get the license? Even if the club made him do it, and it was a club response to all the issues that have surrounded him in his time with the club, then Woody could consider the requirement to get licensed as a sign that club is starting to pay attention to what he is doing. So I think it kind of makes sense that he would leave. But I doubt the club will actually fire him. They don’t have any other coaches. Even coaches who yanked their kids off their perspective teams weren’t let go.

You clearly don’t know all the facts - definitely not yanked off the team. But why would you get rid of a coach just because their kid doesn’t play in the club. Doesn’t many any sense. SJEB has a coach whose son plays at REAL. What’s wrong with that?

This is what frauds do. They go places have big egos, claim they are the best, mess things up and then leave with no warning.

The club may struggle to find a replacement but this would be a good thing for the girls side. Too many girls left because of him. Shame the club doesn’t have enough guts to move on from him

My daughter plays on the team I think you’re referring to and based on your comment you don’t have accurate information. Bottom line is he still lost 13 players in 6 months. Shouldn’t really question who but maybe why?

This club isn’t going anywhere on the girls side with Martin Wood anywhere near a team. They should be hoping he’s leaving. Cross their fingers, toes, and anything else you can cross to get him out of here.
