The GA is adding low level clubs for 2022-23 Season. Will the ECNL expand this year?

    GA added (so far):

    Fram (CA)
    FC Tuscon (AZ)
Syracuse Development Academy (So its a double whammy trip to play Empire United). LOL.
    Real NJ

Will ECNL ever add Top Hat, Nationals, FC Virginia, STA, Cincinnati United or any of the other 2 or 3 good GA clubs?

The new GA clubs are underwhelming so they must be feeling some desperation that ECNL is about to take some of their top programs.

Top Hat, Nationals & FC Virginia are the only "big name" clubs on the outside looking in. There are also 8-10 "good" STA/NEFC level clubs.

I think that Top Hat, Nationals & FC Virginia are on the ECNL's S**t list and that any additions this year will be geographic regions that need better travel situations, like the Midwest or southern Florida.

GA needs to add clubs because travel is so bad. ECNL should have added the big ones this Winter but now GA found it's feet a little bit. Wasted opportunity for ECNL in my eyes.

It appears GA are adding clubs with MLS Next on the boys side and/or clubs who have WPSL affiliates. Smart moves.

The wave of GA departures is coming. Anyone remember how before they pulled the plug on GDA none knew nothing??? Be smart people and read between the lines.

Quite harsh but also possibly very true. Any chance any of the NJ GA clubs make a move to ECNL or are these clubs in other states?

Not a bad choice but don’t they have a partnership already with PDA Shore.

Very unlikely the ECNL adds a club in NJ.
