    Katie Meyer Stanford Women's Soccer

Very sad and a reminder that life is so much more than soccer/sports.

So many young, healthy people/athletes are dying. Very tragic.

Sadly was probably suicide. Stanford lost a woman on their cycling team a few years ago

Mental health is deteriorating and we as a nation have done nothing for those that are suffering.

Same can be said for the elder generation who died from Covid. Destroyed a lot of lives. Don’t be so ignorant. How about just offering condolences to her family and not speculate what her death was from.

Did the authorities release a cause of death yet?

Why are you so miserable? Do you just wait for the opportunity to say something stupid? The 30 second wait between posts must be painful for you. Man you just suck at life.

Can't be ignorant if its true and factual tho....may be in poor taste, but what they said is true.

Typically when nothing is said it is suicide. The family may not want it public. The school won't want it out there for sure but everyone on campus will know.

It was already in crisis before Covid. Now it's practically impossible to see someone and even worse if you're trying to see a therapist that takes your insurance

Does anyone know for sure it was suicide or is everyone speculating? Really sad either way and prayers for the family.

The elder generation tend to die just from age too and not many/if any D1 athletes fit in that category/mortality rate.

Lockdowns destroyed more lives than Covid ever could.

Why do you care? It probably was (lack of information is always a telltale sign) but it's really none of our business if the family doesn't want to make it public.
