Agreed. The 09s aren't playing because RT doesn't want them exposed to decent competition while he tries to get a few new players for the Spring. I've heard he's called several parents from Real, PSA, and even Blaze trying to persuade them to come over. Hopefully no one takes the bait. Keep in mind he's perfectly capable of taking on many players and then shifting them to his 08 team (since he doesn't have an 09 b team) if they aren't at the level he thinks he needs. I'm sure the parents expecting an ECNL spot for their kid will be happy playing EDP for the 08s. -

Parents are being hoodwinked. They are being told their kid is close to getting a spot on the team while also being told he needs them to round out the 08s. This is also at the same time as RT telling them that their kid is amazing. An ECNL spot itself is usually good enough to latch on to for a parent with no soccer experience, but that combined with being told they are close to being on "the number one team" is a lot of incentive. What these parents don't realize is that he has zero intention of bringing them over full time (unless it's #24 on the bench). 100% true. The 2011 parents are worse than the 09s. They think the team is the next best thing since sliced bread, but the Disney tournament proved otherwise. They came home losers. Tetro found another group of parents to brainwash now that the 2009 dynasty is falling apart. The 2011 parents are buying into Tetro's bull**** hook, line and sinker. Someone posted on here yesterday about the 2011 team and got into a argument with another parent.
