Agreed. I saw an 08 team from STA Mount Olive that missed the finals of the ISP because of a penalty and subsequent PKs in the 07 bracket. STA GA, Next Level, and Real NJ also come to mind. I think you find the best coaches in the lesser known teams.

This is an absurd thread. There is no metric for “best coach.” It’s just an opinion. Everyone has a different style of coaching and playing, so e don’t mesh well with each other. Others mesh great. It’s all about finding the perfect fit.

The point is “the best” isn’t always measured by the best players, the best rankings and who wins the most. You just gave a perfect example. The best could be the coach that doesn’t win everything but treats the player with respect and encourages them. That’s a good fit.

When you ask the opinion of anonymous TS parents there is no objectivity. In addition 99.9% of these parents have never played soccer and have no history of understanding the game or know anything about strategy or tactics.
