Why are STA players so slow and mediocre

STA has so many players but so few play beyond high school. Besides the players being slow and not highly skilled what else is Newman doing wrong?

Seriously, what is wrong with you?

Another club bashing thread started by some dik with a grudge or an insecure competitor trying to slam them. Yawn.

It's funny how these random, bizarre threads keep popping up on the forum.... maybe to deflect attention away from Match Fit scandal? Plenty of skilled players at STA, no need to drag their name through the mud just to change the subject.

Your the parent no one stands near during games. You are the parent who is known by the club as a bad influence. College coaches vette parents before offering a verbal commitment to a player and they will hold that against your daughter. This is a good example for all parents to take a moment and step back before you fall down the rabbit hole and it’s too late.

It’s borderline cyber bullying. It’s disgusting, to try and make fun of little kids.

That is total nonsense. Vette the parents-lol

I am the parent that doesn't stand near anyone because the other parent babble incessantly and have no idea or understanding of the game of soccer. Nice kick should never be said ever or the infamous shoot it cry. Also my wife and I haven't said one word to my daughters college coach to date and don't plan to until she graduates.

Not defending the poster since whoever it was is a loser but not standing near anyone is the smartest thing a parent could do at a game.

This is probably DB trying to deflect away from the dumpster fire that is Match Fit!

You're missing the point entirely. There is a difference between being the parent that everyone actively avoids, and being the parent that intentionally keeps a distance. OP is definitely the former, full of toxic BS and always deflecting by mouthing off about others. Maybe someday they will regret acting out like a contemptuous child, but I doubt it.

Different poster and I'm down by the goals staying away from the gossiping moms and nut job dads. I'm perfectly polite but game time I stay away.

But college coaches do vet families. They talk to club coaches about the player, their work ethic, any issues from either the player or the family. Most programs have plenty of players to pick from and coaches don't want any drama

Said the parent standing on the sideline. And I know you didn't play as a kid you would have more respect for the game if you did.
These boards are brutal. Are there no moderators ? New here, but only to see what dumpster fire gets lit next.
Embarrassed for some of you here.
