So not really a "showcase" but expensive scrimmages.

There are a fair number of college coaches attending. My daughter sent out emails to nine of them. Ask me on Tuesday who actually shows up.

Yes exactly. Its a holiday week - likely none.

Very expensive pre season “scrimmages”. Better off playing true friendlies and not paying the exorbitant tourney fees for 2 games.

Three games and much less expensive then Jeff Cup. It comes out to $75/kid for the weekend. I will pay that any day.

They always get a good college turnout from schools in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Really? The coaches take the time during their vacation when they could be skiing to go work? Ummmm - I hope so for the kids, but don’t get their hopes up. Better off waiting for a clinic at a school they want to attend.

You must live at the fields if you don't have to travel to and fro. and also like to pay for scrimmages/not a "college showcase" event IMO. HS age this is the first significant outdoor action/who thinks they are going to showcase after not playing for 3+ months.

College coaches don't make enough to go skiing.

My kids been playing/practicing all winter. Had a game last Sunday. We live 25 mins from PG. She has had coaches reach out to say they are going to come to watch her. I’m honestly not sure why you are so against this. Much cheaper than a $150 ID clinic also. Have a good day.

44 D1 schools with a handful of power 5 and some of the top D3 schools. Pretty damn impressive to me. For the 2023s who lost the early years exposure it makes great sense to play this tournament. ECNL league starts next weekend for some. Great way to get the entire roster PT ahead of the season. For those who don’t understand this, who cares.

So your kid plays for PF and with the weather we have had that is quite impressive to be playing outside all winter. Guess those high end ECNL events are just for traveling around the country and the real college looks are had at the PFS.

Yes those high end D1 schools are looking for 2023 grads alright.
